When your opportunity/deal is ready to be quoted, create the quote with one click. The quote is created and the client’s details and the description of the deal are copied over to automatically. The opportunity/deal and quote are then linked to make it easy to move between the two.
When the quote’s status is changed, for example, it is sent, or the client accepts it, the connected opportunity/deal’s status is also changed and it moves along the pipeline. The statuses need to be mapped in the settings for this to happen. How to do this is explained here:
